Color ad

This ad for Porsche really caught my eye for it's effective use of color. Porsche is an expensive, high class, sophisticated brand. Their advertisements are simple, and to the point, because they don't need to prove themselves. This ad is a perfect example of their simple style. The gold background accentuates the sophistication of the car. The blur of the color makes it seem as if the car is going at a very high speed. Furthermore, the black specks in the gold background bring more accent to the black Porsche in the picture. The reader is automatically drawn to the car because of the way the color is setup in the ad. The white in the lines of the road bring the reader down to the text. Overall, this ad has an effective use of color, because it makes the viewer see the car for what it stands for; wealth and power.
