Interface Project

I didn't save my rationale for this project, so here's an abbreviated version of it:

I wanted a simple, easy to navigate website for this event. The White Ribbon Campaign deals with raising awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault, so I didn't want anything too playful or distracting from the content. I used the blue in the background because it matched the logo well, and the only other color I really utilized was the light purple. I stuck to Georgia in terms of the font I used for the content, and Snell Roundhand for the headliner. I repeated the logo for the navigation links. I took two of the photos: the ones with the signs in them. The other images were found online and related to the event.

  1. I really like your website; it's a really well contrasted design. You used great visual hierarchy to direct the viewer. The large title at the top of the page with simple house shape in the background is very complementary. Then the inverse of colors in a smaller version as the banner is appealing. The colors are very clean and light and the use of only two colors is very neat and inviting. The font is very readable and the grids are wide and neat and there is some variation between horizontal and vertical grids. Nice Job.
