Wrap-Up

I am not sure what I expected from this class, but what I got was not what I anticipated. Everyone told me that Graphics was going to be hard and a lot of work, and they were right. There are many Sundays and many unwatched football games that I wish I could have back. I will say though that aside from a few incredibly annoying and tedious things (cutting and gluing the magazine together for one) time really did fly while working and I would much rather spend time in the lab than studying for a test.
I found that more often than not I stumbled from project to project attempting to meet the criteria though I felt very little confidence or competence with the programs. After every assignment, after hours in the labs, I would hand in my project, amazed at myself that I managed to get it completed. That being said, looking back, I know a lot more than I did when I started. The resume and poster projects that I found so difficult and time consuming would probably take half the time now, and for this reason I would have to call this class a success. It was nerve-racking and difficult, but it was never boring, something that cannot be said for most classes.
