Usability- Andrew Tredinnick

Amazon is a highly efficient website that is easy to use by people of any age group. Amazon has a search engine built in that enables users to search for products that they wish to purchase, since Amazon sells a wide variety of merchandise. The sidebar on the left allows users to just browse through particular entities. If one just chooses to shops without anything particular in mind they are able to see all the departments on the right side. When they scroll over any of these departments they can have their search even more narrowly focused as another listing of possibilities comes into focus. The website also cycles through five different conversations that may strike the viewer as interesting. Also, if you have searched for things in the past Amazon compiles a list that suggests products that may suit your needs. The site also has a row at the very top that allows a person to customize a wish list for Christmas or items they can get when the proper time comes. A person can also put multiple items into their cart and see if they truly wish to purchase those items later on. Overall Amazon is one of the most efficient and user-friendly shopping websites on the web.
