Personally I think that the homepage for Youtube is good. I always go on this site to look up songs and I have uploaded a few videos myself. I like that the search field helps fill in the song or video name when you start to write the artist or the title. Also, on the homepage there are recommendations for videos for you to watch based on what you have already watched before or what you have uploaded before. It gives you your recent history and featured videos of the week or such. If you want, you can create a profile for yourself on youtube, you can just search videos, or you can just create an account and upload some videos if need be.
