Color Post

This is a poster for a movie made a couple of years back called "Daywatch." A theme of this movie is the importance/contrast of night and day, which is on display perfectly here. The contrast of the grays and dark blues of the night and the yellows and oranges of the day work beautifully together and draw the attention of the viewer. The two opposite sides of the color wheel are shown here, following the rule that opposites attract, which I believe is true here. The left side of the poster is dark, brooding and dramatic while the left holds its own, its hot colors demanding attention. Even having no idea what this film is about, this poster would get most people at the very least intrigued enough to want to learn more.
